Privacy
Zabista publishes these pages for the Zabista waitlist and the shop counter. They describe how the product works today. They are not a substitute for advice on the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
Waitlist
The form on the Zabista home page asks for a phone number or an email address, and the kind of shop you run. Zabista uses that only to tell you when you can open a store. We do not sell the list.
A shop on Zabista
When a shop is open, the counter stores:
- the shop’s name, address, GSTIN, and UPI ID, if the owner entered them
- staff sign-in, so only people in that shop can bill
- products, prices, and stock
- bills, payments, and shifts
- a customer’s name, phone, and udhaar balance, when the shopkeeper saves them
Each shop’s rows stay on that shop. A customer phone is there so the shop can send a bill or keep khata. The shopkeeper sees a short notice at the moment they save a phone.
Email from us
Zabista emails the address on a shop owner’s account with product news, updates, and offers. To stop these emails, write to admin@zabista.com from that address and say you want no product news. Sign-in codes and account messages still arrive.
Bills you share
A paid bill can have a private link. Anyone with the link can read that one bill: shop name, lines, tax, total, and how it was paid. The link does not include the customer’s phone number.
A WhatsApp bill is sent only after the shopkeeper marks that the customer agreed. Otherwise the shopkeeper sends the same link from their own WhatsApp.
How long it stays
Bills and tax totals stay so the shop can print a GST invoice. Waitlist contacts stay until we have written to you or you ask us to drop them. Write through the waitlist on the home page and say you want the contact removed. To delete a shop account, follow the delete account steps.
